"L'innocente divertimento della campagna è divenuto a' dì nostri una passione, una manìa, un disordine…": con questa frase Carlo Goldoni comincia la presentazione della sua Trilogia, fortunata opera costituita da tre commedie consecutive: Le Smanie per la Villeggiatura, Le Avventure della Villeggiatura, Il Ritorno dalla Villeggiatura.
L'opera, rappresentata per la prima volta al Teatro S. Luca di Venezia nel 1761, costituisce un alto esempio di satira di costume, che appunta i His fulminations against the surface of the summer vacation fashion, making fun of its most ridiculous and extravagant, represented by people who favor the appearance on being, a most exhilarating of the other, and all more real than reality.
The end orchestration of dialogue and the gradual transitions from one situation to another character witness in the phrasing of the language "alive and conversational, which always characterized the immortal work of Goldoni. loosely based on Hamlet by W. Shakespeare.

The drama begins when in Elsinore, Denmark's capital, you can see the ghost of the deceased king. It returns each night to ask her son Hamlet, revenge, since he was murdered by his wife Gertrude and his brother Claudio, who now reigns over Denmark. Hamlet was troubled by the encounter with the ghost, tells what he saw and heard to his friend Horatio, and decides to implement a plan to establish the truth of the revelations of quest'ultimo; in seguito poi avrebbe vendicato il padre. Amleto può finalmente attuare il suo piano, e per farlo chiama alcuni attori che recitino il suo dramma, riproduzione del reale tradimento della regina e di Claudio and the murder of the king. Claudio's reaction is immediate, and the show is stopped, Hamlet has undeniable proof of the guilt of his mother and his uncle, Hamlet then has a conversation with her mother during which kills Polonius. It starts with an idea quite amusing: that is, that the great tragedies of Shakespeare are not born as such, but should be regarded as comedies are missing. In fact, that the Bard has plundered the works - and far more pleasant to read - an author's previous, changing the final cut and intentions. To support the limelight is a dizzy and frustrated spinster English scholar, assistant and ghost-writer of a teacher who loves without hope. At one point, projected from a spell in another time and space letters, she falls in Cyprus while Iago is suggesting the first doubts in the mind of Othello, and then in the Verona of Romeo and Juliet, Tybalt and Mercutio right there where you preparing the fatal duel that will precipitate the affair.
